We have been asked from time to time if the Cuddle Karrier has a waist belt. The CUDDLE KARRIER is designed to be fast and easy to use and of course comfortable. We have considered redesigning, to include a waist belt. After much thought we agreed that the cost/compromise to price and convenience along with ease of use was something that we did not want to tamper with. One of the biggest features of the Cuddle Karrier is it is so fast and easy to put on and off.

We realized that a parent starting out with the Cuddle Karrier for an older/heavier baby, might be aided by a waist belt until such time as their muscle tone increased from use. A waist belt is an option, you can add a waist belt at any time if desired. Simply thread a belt through the Cuddle Karrier's crotch strap as shown. One suggestion: if you use a waist pack as your belt, it offers more comfort, as well as extra storage...you can always use more space.
